So I just finished portrait #3 and the baby is still napping. I am feeling quite productive today! This is another colored pencil and pastel drawing of my niece, Maddy. Once I started the drawing this morning, I was worried that it would take me a long time because of all that hair and the fact that you can see almost every tooth in her mouth when she smiles. I just kept the teeth super simple and used pastel on her hair which really made the process quite speedy. I want to thank everyone that has already checked this blog out and especially the ones that left comments and emailed me reference photos. I am feeling very inspired… maybe I will make it to a 1000 with your help!
