I realized after I drew Cordelia today that it is St. Patrick’s Day and I should have used green colored pencils! Oh well, maybe next year because at the pace that I am working, I will be still drawing portraits everyday for about 3 more years! I have really been enjoying drawing Cordelia with the blue colored pencils lately. When Cordelia sleeps she is often in very difficult positions to draw correctly. Usually she has an arm that needs to be awkwardly foreshortened, or she is in a position is which you can see directly up her nose. It takes a lot of concentration to get it right- especially when you cannot erase. Then afterward, I have a beautiful moment frozen in time forever that I can use to decorate my house… how great is that? I think it is such a great way to chronicle her childhood.
I am going to have to get frames soon for all my indigo Cordelia’s and I will post a pic once I get them hung on the walls.
Thanks again for reading my blog and I hope that you haven’t gotten tired of seeing drawings of Cordelia!

Framing the portraits to chronicle her childhood is a really great idea. I am sure the arrangement will be beautiful!
